‘Cheong Wa Dae’ is now open to the public

‘Cheong Wa Dae’, which translates into Blue House in Korean and functions as equivalent to the White House in the US is now open to the public after 74 years with Yoon Suk-yeol taking office as South Korea’s new president.

Before opening up to the public beginning this May, Cheng Wa Dae served as an executive office and official residence of the president of South Korea.

Located 10min of walking distance from the Gyeongbok Palace Station (Line 3), you must reserve online first to be able to visit.
