What is the Blue House? ￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣￣
The presidential palace where South Korea's past presidents worked!

This building served as the presidential office for 74 years, from the inauguration of the first president to the inauguration of President Yoon Sung-ryul in May 2022.☺️

This hot spot is now open to the public for the first time in 74 years since President Yoon Sung-ryul took office and the presidential office moved to Yongsan.😌🤍

The Origin of the Name and Its Beauty

It's rare to have the opportunity to enter a place that was actually in use for 74 years! 🫨
So I went!☺️

It's located at the back of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and behind the Blue House, you can see the large mountain Bugaksan.🏔️

The Blue House is named after its blue roof! So, I finally managed to go on a clear blue sky day☺️

The blue of the sky, the green of Mt. Kitadake, and the blue of the roof tiles were so beautiful!😌🤍

What you need to enter...

Apparently, you need to make a reservation in advance, but foreigners can just bring their passports and have them checked at the designated counter, where they'll give you a wristband!🙂!

It felt like I'd seen the interior in Korean before, just like I'd seen it on TV or in a Korean drama!🥹

The interior was surprisingly filled with warm colors, and I thought it was in excellent condition.🤭

The blue tiles were the highlight, so it was beautiful to see in person, but I was captivated by the beautiful patterns on the underside of the tiles, featuring vibrant greens and blues against a white background.🤭

Overall, the space was incredibly beautiful, and it felt like a museum.🥹
Who would have thought I'd have this experience just a few years ago? If you're a fan of this kind of thing, I hope you'll take this opportunity to go, as the public access may end suddenly. ☺️
