🏙️ A Glimpse into History
Cheonggyecheon has flowed through Seoul since the Joseon Dynasty, once vital for water and sewage. In the 20th century, it was covered by roads and an elevated highway. In 2003, a bold restoration project led by then-mayor Lee Myung-bak removed the highway and revived the stream. Completed in 2005, it transformed the area into a green corridor and cultural landmark
🌟 Must-Do Activities
Walk the Stream: Stroll along tree-lined paths, cross stepping stones, and relax by waterfalls.
Visit Cheonggye Plaza: The stream’s starting point near Gwanghwamun, often hosting art and light installations.

Explore the Museum: Learn about the stream’s transformation and Seoul’s urban evolution.
