This bakery in Seoul is incredibly popular 🥯. If you don't have a Korean phone number, you can't make a reservation and can only order takeout. Even for takeout, you need to get a number and wait in line.
The shop has two floors and exudes a very British vibe, making you feel like you've stepped into a magical Harry Potter shop. Their specialty is bagels 🥯, with a variety of flavors to choose from. On the day I visited, I noticed many locals buying from the shop, but very few tourists. Additionally, the staff's attitude towards tourists was extremely rude. When I arrived at 1 PM, they claimed all the numbers for the day had been distributed, even though there were still plenty of bagels available, but they wouldn't let us in 🤬! I was very disappointed with their service attitude.
🥯 The bagels have a dense texture and rich aroma. Pairing them with their homemade cream onion spread is a must. The onion spread, which costs extra, is the soul of the bagel. Even when the bagel is cold, it still tastes amazing. I recommend going early to line up, as there are fewer people in the morning.
❌ Avoid the Samcheong-dong branch as it's too crowded. Instead, visit the Sinsa-dong branch, which has fewer tourists.
