Gwangjang Market is so much fun! ✨
The Starbucks that opened in May 2025 is amazing! ☕️
The first floor is takeout-only, while the second floor is a massive cafe with 250 seats!
The interior, inspired by a "fabric market" with motifs of fabric and thread, blends perfectly into the atmosphere of Gwangjang Market.
A seat by the window overlooks the market street, and the Hangul sign on the rooftop is a photogenic spot! 📸 Perfect for commemorative photos! ✨
Of course, the food is a must!
The crispy outside❤️and fluffy inside🔥Bindaetteok (mung bean pancake) is a must-try.
For around ¥500, you can get half a serving, and if you ask for a "half portion," they'll put half in a cup to eat on the go and the other half in a bag. ⭐️
You can also get half-sized tteokbokki, and the price is half, which is a nice bonus! 💰
The bibimbap and oden menus are clearly displayed, so you can rest assured.
All of the food is street food, but the prices are fair.
You can even get takeout to your hotel, which is great! 💡
Gwangjang Market is conveniently located in central Seoul, about a 3-minute walk from Jongno 5-ga Station (Exit 8) on Subway Line 1. 🚃
or about a 5-minute walk from Euljiro 4-ga Station (Exit 4) on Subway Line 2. 🚃
It's also great for stopping by between sightseeing. 💡
It's not widely known, but the market has alternating closing days for different types of food:
Week 1: Chijimi
Week 2: Street Food
Week 4: Kalguksu & Barley Rice
It's good to know about these days. 😊
Gwangjang Market is constantly evolving, so be sure to stop by on your next trip to Seoul! 🎶
📍Location: 88 Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea
