[Seoul, Korea] Korean food for solo travelers

Introducing the food I ate during my solo trip to Korea

🎖️ Michelin Guide Seoul 2025
Bib Gourmand Restaurant

● Neungdong Minari Shinyongsan Branch
I returned because I wanted to try their Minari Yukhoe Bibimbap. It contains what looks like shredded daikon radish pickled in sweet and sour sauce. The seasoning is just to my liking and delicious. 😋
The accompanying minari and changja (chicken stew) are also delicious. 😆
I recommend this Shinyongsan branch over the Seongsu branch!
🇯🇵 No Japanese menu
🇰🇷 Everyone except me was Korean.

● GEBANG SIKDANG Gaebangsittang
I went to a new soy sauce restaurant to try out. 🦀
It wasn't fishy, the saltiness was just right, and the side dishes were delicious. 😃
🇯🇵Japanese menu available.
The staff spoke Japanese. 😊
🇰🇷The crowd was about half Korean and half tourist.

● Manjok Ohyang Jokbal City Hall Branch
I went to this restaurant to try jokbal. 🐷
Orders are limited to two people. 😅
Plus,
the shredded cabbage was served in a bowl, and the mandu and tteok soup was served in a pot. 🤣
The sour sauce was refreshing. 😃
It was delicious wrapped in something like sweet and sour radish, but I couldn't eat it all. 😅
🇯🇵Japanese menu available/touch screen
🇰🇷Most of the customers were Korean, but the person sitting next to me was Japanese.
