⌇ Travel to Korea for the First Time with Confidence! ✈️🇰🇷
8 Tips for a Comfortable Stay in Korea, Learned from 13 Years of Failure and Discovery🌟

⌇

I wish I could tell myself from 13 years ago 😂←
I made so many mistakes, panicked, and cried...
But little by little,
I developed a motto and mindset for traveling in Korea✊✨

Now, my stay has become much smoother. 🤔💭

\\For those planning to visit Korea✈️//
I've compiled a list of things you should know to make your trip easier, based on my own mistakes and experiences. ✍️

Things I've learned firsthand over the past 13 years traveling back and forth between Japan and Korea😂💦

To avoid any problems or regrets on your trip to Korea! I've compiled 8 things I particularly pay attention to and keep in mind. 🌟
I hope your first trip to Korea is worry-free and enjoyable. 🙏✨
⌇
[Money Situation💸]
Some stores don't accept credit cards!
Make sure you have plenty of Korean won on hand. 💡
🥲 {The currency exchange was closed, and I didn't have enough won to charge my transportation card! !!
I almost couldn't get back to the hotel. 🚨
Thanks to the help of my kind unnie and ajussi, I got home safely.
[Inventory Situation🛍️]
Even if a product isn't on the shelves and you think, "Oh no, it's sold out!?", don't give up. 🥹
I was about to give up, thinking they didn't have it, but I took a chance! When I asked the store clerk,
they sometimes said, "Yes, we have it," and even put it in stock ✊← Be brave
This happens a lot, especially at airports where merchandise sells well.
[Shopping Situation🛒]
If you think, "It's cute! I like it!"
Buy it without hesitation 🛍️
You might come back later and find it's sold out, or it might be gone a few months later.
Trends change so quickly in Korea,
and this is a really common occurrence 😭 I've experienced this so many times...
"Don't worry about things you don't want,"
so if your heart flutters even a little 🫰💖, it's a chance encounter.
[Toilet Situation🚻]
If you're thinking, "Should I go...what should I do?"
Just go! Don't worry if you really don't need to go! ←
This will prevent you from thinking, "I should have gone...🤦♀️" later.
If you come across a restroom that doesn't have tissues, or you can't even find one...
Just use it when you find one! It's important.💡
[Hygiene Issues🦠]
Tissues, especially wet tissues, are essential!
For when you're eating out, sampling food, or getting your hands dirty,
they're the #1 item to have on hand.🌟
They're also great for wiping off tteokbokki sauce and other things that are hard to remove from your clothes! !
😂 {I panicked when dakgalbi sauce splashed on my favorite clothes!💦
The waiter quickly brought me some wet tissues with dishwashing detergent or something,
and somehow my clothes were spotless.💡
[Lost and Found Issues💍]
After losing my precious ring,
I stopped wearing any jewelry in Korea. I immediately went back to where I thought I'd dropped it, but I couldn't find it...
So now I've made it a point to never take anything I don't want to lose! 🫡✨

[Injury Circumstances 🩹]
It was hot, so I wore ankle socks,
but both my ankles got blisters and chafed, and they stung every time I walked. 😭
My quality of life while traveling is surprisingly low...
I'm not trying to be mean,
but I wish I'd worn longer socks to protect my ankles!
I didn't have enough bandages.
Speaking from experience...! 🫡✨Seriously? ←

[Road Conditions 👣]
You want to look stylish when you're traveling...
But new sandals and boots are the cause of blisters and chafing! 😭‼ ️
I've fallen over ditches and slopes many times,
and even had my sandal laces snap and break! 💦
I've also had to make unexpected expenses to buy new shoes when I got there...💸
There are a lot of steep slopes and bumpy roads,
so the sneakers you're used to wearing in Japan are the safest bet!
Here's some advice for a comfortable trip!👟✨
😭 {I even had the soles of my shoes come off!
A kind shop assistant lent me some glue,
and I managed to hold on until I got home!🙏 Kamsa Kamsa
⌇
That's it! These are the 8 things I pay particular attention to this time!🌟
I've introduced them to you!! I hope you have a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable time in Korea! 🫶✨
I dropped my ring! 💍
My foot hurts! 🦶💦
I can't ride the train! 🚃💨
I should have bought it! 🚃💨
Don't make so many mistakes like me later on! 😂🙏
