Akira Back Seoul: The Best Japanese Restaurant in Seoul

Located in the heart of Gwanghwamun, Cafe Maru is a luxurious bakery cafe with a ambiance reminiscent of a European palace.
The moment I opened the door, the high ceilings, marble floors, and refined lighting combined to create the elegant feel of a hotel lounge. Gwanghwamun Square was visible through the window, and the soft classical music drifting through the air created a sense of peace.
This isn't just a place to enjoy coffee; it's more a place to "stay and relax."
My top recommendations are the fig-filled pastry and the seasonal fruit biscuit. 🍇🥐
The pastry's crisp texture exudes a buttery aroma, while the sweet fig juice gently melts in your mouth. The fruit biscuit is generously filled with seasonal fruit, leaving every bite refreshing and moist.
Take a seat by the window with a warm latte. The golden cutlery reflecting the sunlight and the desserts on white plates were truly picturesque.
For a fleeting moment, I felt like I was transported to a scene from a travel destination.
👑 "A leisurely cup of coffee in a luxurious palace setting, Cafe Maru."
I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a classy afternoon tea near Gwanghwamun.
