I visited the Baek In-je House in Bukchon and took a leisurely stroll. The tranquil atmosphere of the hanok allowed me to truly experience the charm of old Seoul, and the traces of time remaining throughout were deeply soothing. 🔮
The house preserved the traditional hanok structure well, with the sarangchae (men's quarters), anchae (women's quarters), and yard harmoniously arranged. The garden view from the veranda was particularly impressive. The sunlight filtering through the tiles and the sound of the bamboo swaying in the breeze brought a sense of peace, as if time had stood still for a moment. 🍁
Through the guided tour, I learned that the Baek In-je House is a valuable resource that showcases the modern residential culture of Hanseong during the Japanese colonial period. I was also impressed by its unique architectural style, where tradition and modernity coexist. In the heart of Bukchon, where past and present meet, the Baek In-je House was a precious place where I could experience both the history of Seoul and the beauty of hanok.🌿
