🍁Korea’s Golden Autumn Adventure: Nami Island, Hanbok Glam, and Urban Vibes✨
Start your journey in Chuncheon-si with Nami Island, a fairytale retreat famous for its rows of golden ginkgo and maple trees—ideal for a dreamy autumn stroll. The ferry to 1 Namiseom-gil runs from 08:00-21:00; early mornings are magical for photos of sun-kissed leaves and fewer crowds. Must-do: Snap “insta-worthy” shots along the tree-lined avenues. Dress in a Hanbok (they’re available right on the island or nearby rental shops!) for storybook photos among both Korean and modern city architecture.
Next, head to Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace (161 Sajik-ro, Jongno District). Hanbok gives you free entry and a wave of attention—try getting there before noon for soft sunlight and less foot traffic, plus dramatic palace gates as your backdrop. Closed Tuesdays, with varying opening hours depending on season, so check ahead.
For sky-high city panoramas, N Seoul Tower (105 Namsangongwon-gil) is perfect, open 10:00-22:30 (later on weekends!). Head up in late afternoon for golden hour views over the city. The photo deck and the cityscape are must-shoots!
If you stay near Hongdae, enjoy its buzzing nightlife and trendy coffee shops—a perfect spot for evening street snaps.
Day trip: Alpaca World (310 Pungcheon-ri, Hongcheon-gun) for adorable animal encounters and rolling countryside views. Best tip: Wear comfy shoes and bring extra camera batteries; the alpaca pasture is irresistible! Admission: 85.0.
Pack layers—autumn weather swings from crisp mornings to sunny afternoons. Some places get crowded, so start early and pre-book where possible.
