5-Day Trip to South Korea for Just 3k per Person: An Unbeatable Deal

Visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace was one of the highlights of our trip. My wife and I went early in the morning, when the palace grounds were calm and the air still fresh. The contrast between the ancient wooden buildings and the modern Seoul skyline around them felt magical — like stepping into another time.
We joined the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, watched the traditional uniforms, and took our time exploring the courtyards and halls. The mountain backdrop made every photo look stunning.
It’s a place that beautifully combines history, culture, and peace — we loved just strolling hand-in-hand through the palace gardens.
Getting there: Take Subway Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station (Exit 5) — the palace entrance is right outside.
Pro tip: Arrive before 10 AM for fewer crowds and catch the guard ceremony (10 AM & 2 PM). Rent hanbok nearby for free palace entry and great photos!
