My favorite part: the spectacular fireworks right from my spacious hotel window and the serene views over the rooftops at sunrise or dusk. This trip had a perfect mix of nature, modern architecture, and great comfort.

Top Spots to Visit:
1. ROYGEM Hotel Liuyang Tianhong Shopping Plaza (NO.288 Section 1 of Datang Road, Liuyang)
Why stay here? The rooms are super spacious, with huge windows for city views. The hotel rocks modern tech (think voice control and robot helpers), It’s steps away from Tianhong Plaza, Sky Theater, and Rainbow Mall, making evening strolls a breeze.
Staff are friendly and service is always attentive.

2. Xihu Mountain (West of Liuyang)
For culture and chill-out time, Xihu Mountain offers panoramic outdoor views of Liuyang’s mix of modern and traditional Chinese architecture. It’s especially beautiful during golden hour when the sunlight spills over the skyline and treetops.

Food: Try hotel’ breakfast spread—surprisingly satisfying! For eats near Tianhong Plaza, hunt down local Hunan cuisine stalls for spicy treats.
Destination Tips: Best time to watch fireworks is after sunset, especially during local festivals. Most places in Liuyang accept cash or mobile payment (WeChat Pay/Alipay). The weather is generally mild and sunny.
