💎Silladang Ikseon, a gem of a cafe in Ikseon-dong Hanok Village

While walking through the Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, I stumbled upon **"Silladang Ikseon"**, a truly gem of a café.
What makes this place so special isn't just its beautiful hanok café, but also its authentic experience of juak, a traditional Korean dessert.

I especially recommend their Gaeseong juak. Made using the traditional method of mixing glutinous rice flour and wheat flour, kneading with makgeolli (rice wine), and then frying in oil, the juak is moist and chewy, filling your mouth with every bite. The sweetness bursting through my mouth was truly blissful.

The café's atmosphere perfectly complemented the juak. The cozy garden and the luxurious interior, adorned with mother-of-pearl, were the perfect setting for enjoying Korean desserts. It felt like sitting at a traditional tea table, and I wanted to linger.
