The palace turns golden!

It's the perfect time to embark on a fall foliage trip in Seoul, and I recently visited a place so beautiful that I just had to share it with you! Let me introduce you to this stunning spot, now painted in golden hues.

📍 Hyoja-ro, Gyeongbokgung Palace

Address:
161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul

By subway:
Take Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station.

Gyeongbokgung Palace is the oldest and most historic palace in Seoul. The Hyoja-ro street leading to Gyeongbokgung is lined with ginkgo and maple trees, and the golden foliage makes it incredibly picturesque. Many people were taking photos along the stone walls, and I couldn't resist snapping a few myself!

I visited during the first week of November, and while some areas hadn't fully turned yet, I believe the second week will be the peak season for the foliage.

Also, Gyeongbokgung Palace currently offers free admission, so keep that in mind when planning your visit!

I highly recommend taking a fall trip to the palace and enjoying the seasonal beauty!
