Korea/Seoul [Gyeongbokgung Palace] Korean market in the tourist area 💕

Gyeongbokgung Palace is a popular tourist attraction located in a corner of downtown Seoul, Korea, where many buildings stand.

As the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), it is known as the royal residence and home of the king.

If you wear traditional Korean clothing, hanbok (traditional Korean dress), the admission fee is free, so we recommend wearing hanbok when sightseeing.

The nearest stations are Gyeongbokgung Palace Station and Gwanghwamun Station, and the area is also close to tourist spots such as Samcheong-dong, Anguk, and Ikseon-dong.

But did you know that there is a market in Gyeongbokgung Palace?

Gyeongbokgung Palace is close to Samcheong-dong and Anguk, but the market is on the opposite side of the palace.

Not only is there a market, but there are also many bars. I've always been to the Samcheongdong side, so this was my first time here, and it was a rediscovery for me that there are places like this in Gyeongbokgung Palace. 🤍

There were also many shops that rented out hanbok, so many people may already know about them.

The market seemed to have a lot of famous shops, and all of them were shops that had been featured in the media.

There was a wide variety of shops, with almost all Korean cuisine available♩

If you're visiting as a tourist, I definitely recommend the Gyeongbokgung Palace market!
