A Friendly Green Wonderland - Shaolai Mountain Trail

Shaolai Mountain, located in the Daxueshan Forest Recreation Area in Heping District, Taichung City, stands at an altitude of 2,307 meters. At the summit, there is a forest fire lookout tower that is over ten meters tall, offering excellent views of the western side, including Yunzui Mountain and Hengling Mountain Ridge (Xiaobaiyue No. 39 - for those collecting Xiaobaiyue peaks).

Visitors can choose a gentler and more relaxed route, starting from the 35.1K toll station trailhead. The entire trail is a friendly zigzag path with lush greenery and beautiful forest scenery, making it very comfortable and pleasant.

Along the way, you will pass through man-made forests, occasionally encountering uniquely shaped giant trees standing tall. Looking up at the treetops, the light filtering through the gaps creates beautiful refractions. The pristine forest is lush and green, making you feel as if you are in a green wonderland.
