[Gangnam Station Hot Place🔥] Cocktail Restaurant Bar Ugly🍸

Early last year, I visited Gangnam Station's hot place cocktail bar Ugly, which has a luxurious yet trendy vibe in late winter! As soon as I entered, the gorgeous constellation pattern on the ceiling and the antique, luxurious, yet heavy interior caught my eye. Since I visited early in the evening on a weekday, the store wasn't crowded yet, so it was nice to enjoy a cocktail quietly. The menu had illustrations of the cocktails and the main ingredients explained, so it was easy to choose. There were so many pretty and unique cocktails that I really wanted to try, so it wasn't an easy choice 🥺

After much thought, I ordered Ugly's signature cocktail, Not Ugly. Not Ugly is a gin-based cocktail with lemon juice, thyme, and lavender syrup, which gives it a refreshing taste. The egg white is also shaken together, and the soft foam creates a refreshing yet soft aftertaste, which seemed to balance the overall taste and texture. Egg whites in cocktails may seem strange and unfamiliar, but because they are shaken vigorously multiple times, they turn into very delicate and soft foams, so they are not greasy at all, but rather, they blend harmoniously with other main ingredients and play a huge role in enhancing the taste, flavor, and texture. If you visit Ugly, this is a menu that I definitely recommend💚
