Pre-flight meals at KLIA can be hit or miss—but this time, they seriously delivered.

Before immigration, I grabbed a quick bite at Taco Bell—crunchy grilled chicken tacos that were fast, satisfying, and just right to kick off the journey.

Then came the highlight: Flight Club, located after immigration. Using my credit card benefit, I redeemed a complimentary set meal—yes, completely free. I chose the Ayam Masak Merah, a rich and tangy Malay-style tomato chicken stew, served with acar jelatah (pickled vegetables) and steamed rice.

I opted for takeaway, and even packed to go, the flavors held up beautifully—fragrant, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The iced latte that came with the set was a smooth, refreshing bonus while waiting at the gate.
