Brunei is a small Islamic state on the island of Borneo. It is full of attractions, from places where you can experience Islamic culture such as the New Mosque, the largest in Brunei, which can accommodate 5,000 people, to places where you can experience the lives of people such as Kampong Ayer, one of the world's largest floating settlements.
①Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque
Completed in 1958, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is one of the most representative mosques in Brunei. It features a gorgeous exterior with a shining pure gold dome and elegant white walls. The scenery, which seems to be floating on the water surrounded by a lake, is like a beautiful painting.
It is lit up at night, so we highly recommend it! !
