【Hotel Record】Shanghai Chongming Sheraton Hotel∣Directly Recommended

Hotel: Shanghai Chongming Sheraton Hotel
Price: 500+ (working days)
Room type: Grand Garden Suite (upgrade from basic room for members)
Hotel Introduction: The hotel opened in 2017 and is located at the northern end of Chongming Island in the north of Shanghai, about an hour's drive from Shanghai. The hotel focuses on family-friendly activities and is suitable for weekend family outings, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoying the pastoral scenery.
Hotel service: Standard Sheraton service. The hotel customer service and restaurant waiters are very enthusiastic, especially the restaurant waiters. Maybe the hotel is usually populated by tourists with children, so the waiters and children interact very well. The hotel was also very generous in providing membership upgrades and benefits. Since there were three of us staying, we also received an extra breakfast.
Room situation: The Garden View Suite has an additional outdoor area compared to the regular suite, but it was raining that day so it was not actually used. The interior is divided into three parts: living room, bedroom and bathroom. The overall decoration style is standard Sheraton decoration, with blue and gray tones, simple and refreshing. What is particularly commendable is that we communicated with the customer service in advance and arranged a tent, Lego table, dolls, etc. for children in the room. My 13-month-old baby especially likes the three white cloud dolls. However, the hotel does not provide bed guards, only cribs. We brought our own anti-fall mosquito nets and set them up on site. It was very convenient and safe.
Hotel public area: The hotel covers a large area, with a lot of vegetation outdoors, which echoes the surrounding rural scenery. You can rent a small bicycle or tricycle to explore the surrounding area or experience parent-child cycling. hotel
There are also two playgrounds, one indoor and one outdoor, which are said to cover a total area of over 300 square meters. My baby is relatively young, so he only experienced the indoor playground, which has slides, bubble pools, etc. The children had a lot of fun. The hotel swimming pool is relatively conventional, with only one children's pool for families, but there will be a bubble party outdoors every afternoon, but there is an additional charge. Hotel Dining:
/Chinese restaurant: I really have to complain about this, because the hotel’s Chinese restaurant has good reviews online, but the Chinese restaurant is currently under renovation so the Western restaurant provides some Chinese food. But this price is really outrageous. It is recommended that those who drive themselves can go to Chenjia Town to eat at farmhouses. Mama’s Small Workshop and Lao Ziwei are recommended, both are good.
Breakfast: The breakfast is quite satisfactory, with all the expected varieties, but the taste is mediocre. I recommend the small wontons, and the handmade rice balls are also OK.
