Exhibition Introduction: This is a group exhibition of Chinese contemporary artists born in the 1980s, featuring 35 outstanding artists living in China. The "post-80s" generation in China is in the middle of their careers, and they are the first generation to grow up in the context of China's rapid economic development, as well as a generation shaped by the dreams and situations of globalization.
As an exhibition, "The Landscape of the 80s: Intergenerational Leap" is a cultural narrative that is urgently relevant to our lives today. On the one hand, it presents the overlapping resonance between contemporary Chinese society and the global context under the conditions of globalization; on the other hand, beneath the complex and diverse narrative appearances, it calls for the same "in-between" gaze and voice, hoping to return to the zone full of tension and rekindle our courage for the future.
Foggy Words: There are many art forms: photography, painting, sculpture, installation, video, etc. Some works can be participated in the making.
