A thousand-year-old temple with beautiful ginkgo trees in Shanghai that you must know about!

Visit this hidden gem temple in Qingpu this ginkgo season! The whole temple looks like it has been painted with a golden brush, which is very charming.

🔔 The temple is a pleasant surprise. Compared to the splendor of Jing'an Temple and the hustle and bustle of Longhua Temple, Baoguo Temple is quiet and beautiful, and well worth a visit.

There is an ancient ginkgo tree behind the former Guanwang Temple, which is said to have been planted during the Five Dynasties period, more than 1,050 years ago, and is the oldest and largest thousand-year-old ginkgo tree in Shanghai. 🔔 The solemn atmosphere of the temple makes it especially sacred. The best time of the year to see the golden ginkgo trees is on a sunny day. 🌞

🌈🌈 Nearby attractions:
☕️ A new coffee shop called "Guan Coffee" has opened next to the main gate, named after the nearby Guanwang Temple.
🐟 There is a primitive fishing village with fishing boats moored in the harbor, where you can take photos of the fishing boats in the harbor...
👉 There are also the lively Santang North Village, the artistic Cenbu Village, the quiet Jinze Ancient Town, and the Jiangnan ancient town of Zhujiajiao with its small bridges and flowing water nearby. 🛶
