Hainan Island's patriotic education base, Hainan Martyrs Cemetery

Location: Jinniuling Park, Haikou City, Hainan Province

Introduction: The Hainan Liberation Martyrs Cemetery, also known as the "Hainan Island Liberation Campaign Martyrs Cemetery," is located in Jinniuling Park in Haikou City. It is a key protected revolutionary memorial in Hainan Province and serves as a patriotic education center. Construction began in 1957, initially as the "Jinniuling Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery," and was renamed in 2007 to commemorate the martyrs who died in the Hainan Island Liberation Campaign. The cemetery features a large conical collective mausoleum for unknown martyrs, individual martyr tombs, and a columbarium, all in a solemn and dignified atmosphere lined with evergreen pines and cypresses.

Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
