📍The Shanghai EDITION

⏰ check-in: 15:00 / check-out: 12:00

🔎 Location
- Located on Nanjing East Road, within walking distance to the Bund, so the location is perfect.

- There are many shops and markets nearby, and since it’s a busy area, I didn’t feel scared even when coming back late after a massage!

- When taking a taxi from the airport, if you choose the ‘East New District / Shanghai EDITION’ option, you can get off right at the hotel’s back door!

🔎 Room Features
- There are many room types, but the one I stayed in was the 'Loft King Room-Bund View'! There are two options: Bund view (Oriental Pearl Tower view) and regular city view, so you can decide based on your preference and budget 🫶🏻

- The price range was between 50-80 per night, and it seemed to go up a bit on weekends or holidays! (I recommend finding the lowest price and booking 🍀)

🍯 Tip! After booking the hotel, I sent an email to the hotel reception with my reservation number and specific requests for the room! I wrote in English something like, ‘Above all, I want a bathtub view, a high-floor corner room with a good view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, and I hope my requests can be accepted as much as possible.’ Thankfully, even though it was Christmas Eve at check-in, I got a room that exceeded my expectations! 🫶🏻

- All hotel amenities are from Le Labo, and the minibar in the room was free except for alcohol! 🥹 It was perfect to enjoy with room service, and the room service food was delicious too - 🧡 The staff had some difficulty with English but tried their best to respond patiently, so I used the services without any major issues!

🔎 Hotel Facilities

- The hotel has various facilities, making it perfect for a staycation! There’s a swimming pool, gym, spa, rooftop bar, and more 🥹 I’ll introduce the bar and Japanese restaurant I used!

🔑 HIYA (It seems the name has changed to YONE now!)
: Fusion Japanese restaurant
: Located on the 27th floor of the hotel
: Open for lunch (11:30-14:00), afternoon tea (14:30-16:30), dinner (17:30-22:00), and cocktail bar (22:00-24:00)
: I asked the hotel to make a reservation for lunch after check-out, and since the window seats were fully booked, they assigned me a sofa seat! While dining, I realized the window seats were a bit too bright, so the view from inside was also nice!
: Overall, the prices were quite high, but the food quality was the best I had in Shanghai! The afternoon tea is also famous, so be sure to visit if you get the chance 🧡

🔑 PUNCH ROOM
: Located on the 28th floor of the hotel
: I visited after finishing my schedule, and since it was Christmas Eve, the reservations were full, so they seated me at the bar! The distant view of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Bund nightscape was beautiful, and I remember the moderate noise and friendly service! The prices were reasonable, so I recommend visiting after your day’s plans 🫶🏻

☘️Accommodation Review☘️
I usually put a lot of effort into choosing accommodations like hotels or Airbnbs both domestically and abroad, and this was the most satisfying hotel I’ve visited recently 🥹 The location, room condition, and service were all top-notch, and above all, the vibe... it’s pure European vibe..! 🧡 If I come to Shanghai again, this is definitely a place I want to stay at again - 🥹 It would also be perfect for a proposal stay, highly recommended 🫶🏻!!!
