📍Shanghai Daning Park
Did you know there is a huge park in Shanghai? It’s so big that it has entrances on the east, west, south, and north sides.
Honestly, I went there imagining a park like those in Korea, but it was much bigger than I expected, so I was a bit overwhelmed.
The bridges, ponds, and lotus flowers scattered throughout created such a beautiful harmony. It was a park style that’s hard to find in Korea, so I was even more satisfied.
I visited Shanghai at the end of March, which was the perfect season for tulips to be in full bloom, so I got to see a very beautiful tulip garden. At this scale, it almost felt like being in the Netherlands.
Also, inside the park, there was a separate area with a white sandy beach that was designed to look just like the sea. This part was really fascinating and a unique experience.
Maybe because the weather had warmed up a lot, I saw many Shanghai residents camping or having picnics.
If you visit Shanghai in March, I definitely recommend going to this park. It was such a satisfying experience💛
