My first time staying at such a luxurious hotel, it’s absolutely amazing!!

🏠 Prime Location
I just got back from the Conrad Shanghai Shimao Hotel, and it’s seriously fantastic! It’s right in Shanghai’s prime area, with all kinds of fun places just outside the door. The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center is right next door, super convenient. If you’re heading to Disneyland, a taxi ride is just a short trip away. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so you never have to worry about being hungry.

🛀 Excellent Wellness Facilities
The hotel’s wellness facilities totally won me over. The gym is fully equipped with treadmills, dumbbells, stationary bikes—you name it. I worked out there every morning and felt so energized. The biggest surprise was the heated swimming pool; the water temperature was just perfect, making swimming especially comfortable. I also found a small corner by the pool with a few lounge chairs where I could relax and sunbathe after my swim. It was so relaxing.

🛌 Outstanding Check-in Experience
When I checked in, the front desk staff was super friendly, helped me with the process, and even gave me a small gift. The room was huge, and the bed was as soft as a cloud—I fell asleep the moment I lay down. The windows were extra large, and when I opened the curtains, the view outside was breathtaking. What impressed me most was that the bathroom amenities were all from big-name brands, with a wonderful fragrance. After showering, I felt fresh and fragrant all over.

🍽️ Delicious and Abundant Dining
The hotel’s restaurants were a major highlight. Breakfast had a wide variety, including Chinese congee and buns, as well as Western bread and fried eggs. I was able to eat my fill every day. The restaurant downstairs also offered many specialty dishes. I tried their steak, which was tender and juicy, paired with a nice red wine. I wanted more after finishing it.

🌟 Thoughtful Little Details
Staying here, I noticed many thoughtful little touches. For example, every time I came back from outside, the air conditioning in the room was already set to the most comfortable temperature. One night when I returned late, the front desk lady even reminded me to stay safe, which made me feel as warm as being at home.

If you plan to stay at the Conrad Shanghai Shimao Hotel, I have a few tips. The gym and pool are free to use, so definitely check them out. Also, the transportation around the hotel is very convenient, with the subway nearby, making travel super easy. If you want to dine inside the hotel, I recommend going early; otherwise, you might miss out on good seats.

In short, my experience at the Conrad Shanghai Shimao Hotel was fantastic, and I’ll definitely come back next time!
