💜 Shanghai Lavender Park – A Provence-Inspired Purple Escape Next to Disneyland

No need to fly to Provence — Shanghai’s Lavender Park turns into a breathtaking sea of purple every May and June, and it’s honestly one of the most romantic seasonal sights you can catch in the city.

Located just next to Shanghai Disneyland, this floral haven is home to over 200,000 lavender plants and features winding trails, flower corridors, and tranquil garden corners. Perfect for solo visitors, couples, and families alike.

📍 How to get there:
🚇 Subway: Disney Station Line 11, Exit 3, then walk ~950m
🕘 Opening hours: 09:00–16:30 (last entry at 16:00)
🎟️ Tickets must be purchased in advance. There’s physical ticketing booth there as well.

🌸 Key highlights & tips:
1️⃣ The South Garden is where the lavender blooms — don’t confuse it with the North Garden!
2️⃣ Dress in white or purple for those perfect photos against the lavender backdrop.
3️⃣ Besides lavender, enjoy rose gardens, begonia corridors, and patterned horticulture throughout the park - I personally find the rose gardens a lot more impressive though the lavenders are better for taking photos 😆

🧺 It’s a peaceful place to unwind, take dreamy photos, and enjoy nature without leaving the city. Whether you’re in it for the Instagram moment or a true breath of fresh air, this is a seasonal gem not to be missed!
