Shanghai Greenhouse Garden
📍Shanghai, China

Explore Asia's largest botanical garden! Perfect for summer fun with water play 🎐

🟠 Tickets and Reservations
While it seemed possible to enter without a prior reservation, I decided to book in advance just to be safe.

Search "Shanghai Greenhouse Garden" on WeChat ⇒ Click "购票" (Purchase Tickets) ⇒ Buy "成人票" (Adult Ticket).

Tickets cost 92 RMB for adults and 49 RMB for children. Children over 100cm in height require a ticket.

🟠 Botanical Garden
The garden is divided into three main areas. The first area features projection mapping, while the third area has a shallow water play zone.

The scale of the garden is impressive, giving off more of an amusement park vibe, like Disney, rather than a traditional botanical garden! Adults can enjoy the experience, and kids will love the projection mapping and water play areas.

The water play zone is shallow, making it safe for preschool-aged children. It's recommended to bring clothes that can get wet, a change of clothes, towels, and drinks.

While parts of the garden are air-conditioned and relatively cool, the glass structure allows sunlight to pour in, making it quite warm ☀. Dressing lightly is advised!

Although I skipped it due to the heat, the Twin Peaks area is nearby, offering opportunities for hiking or outdoor play equipment for kids.

With so much to see and do, I had a great time and plan to return when the weather is cooler to explore the Twin Peaks area as well!
