
Jiuligou Scenic Area, a national scenic area and a key component of the Wangwushan National Scenic Area, is located in Sili Town, 15 kilometers northwest of Jiyuan City, Henan Province. It borders the Wulongkou Scenic Area to the east, the Wangwu Scenic Area to the west, and the Manghe Scenic Area in Shanxi Province to the north. It covers a total area of 120 square kilometers and boasts over 80 scenic spots.
It has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with warm and windy springs, hot and rainy summers, clear and cool autumns, and dry, cold, and little snow in winters.

Jiuligou Scenic Area is renowned for its rich natural landscapes and geological features. It offers ecological tourism opportunities and preserves local cultural sites, including temples and traditional structures, highlighting Henan’s natural and cultural heritage.
Open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. The best times to visit are spring and autumn when the weather is mild and the scenery is most vibrant.
Entrance fees are around 60–80 RMB per adult. Tickets can be purchased onsite at the entrance or via official online platforms and local travel apps.
Advance booking is recommended for weekends and public holidays, ideally 1–3 days prior to visiting.
