Zhangyuan is located at 258 North Maoming Road, Jing’an District, Shanghai, right next to HKRI Taikoo Hui. It’s one of the finest examples of Shikumen architecture from old Shanghai. After its renovation, many high-end brands — including Celine and Vacheron Constantin — have opened stores here.


On weekends, you’ll often find limited-time pop-up events, and both locals and tourists love visiting for photos and a taste of nostalgia, as if stepping back in time.


The Blue Bottle Coffee shop here is set inside a Shikumen building, blending modern coffee culture with classical charm — a relaxing place to sit down and enjoy a cup.


Zhangyuan is free to enter and open for visits from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
