Shanghai | The brilliant Japanese restaurant near Jingan Temple

Their menu is divided into à la carte and set meals. They also offer set menus, but those require advance reservation, so it’s quite popular! We mainly ordered à la carte.

Sashimi Platter
All the sashimi was very fresh. Salmon, sweet shrimp, and because the cuts were thick, each bite was super satisfying!

Thinly Sliced Beef Tongue
You can choose thick or thin slices; we went with thin. The flavor really came through, and paired with yuzu vinegar, the texture was fantastic!

Unagi Don
The rice base was flavorful, and the eel on top was very fresh. The sauce made it irresistible!

Tempura
We chose shrimp tempura, and the shrimp were impressively large.

Black Cod
A drizzle of lemon juice elevated the freshness of the cod to another level.
