Shanghai Dining Experience: A Must-Try Michelin One-Star Roast Duck

This time, I finally dined at Sheng Yong Xing in Shanghai, and it truly lives up to its Michelin one-star reputation✨.

The signature roast duck is an absolute must-order! The chef carves the duck tableside, and the duck skin is crispy without being greasy, while the meat is tender and juicy, completely devoid of any greasiness you might expect. It melts in your mouth perfectly—truly impressive.

Apart from the roast duck, all the other dishes we ordered this time were equally delightful: Emperor's Cabbage, Truffle Shrimp Balls, Quail Eggs with Caviar, and Stir-Fried Pea Shoots. The combination of dishes left us completely satisfied.

The service was also a highlight—attentive and thoughtful, making the entire dining process from ordering to serving very comfortable. The most surprising part was the window-side seating, where you can enjoy views of the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower while dining. The combination of gourmet food and stunning scenery creates a perfect ambiance.

Overall, the experience was exceptional in terms of food, service, and environment. It truly deserves its Michelin one-star rating💯.
