Yu Garden Shanghai

Yu Garden is one of the must-visit attractions when traveling to Shanghai. This garden was built during the Ming Dynasty by a nobleman as a gesture of gratitude to his parents. It is not just an ordinary beautiful garden but a work of art filled with profound meaning and philosophy.

As you step through the gates, you will feel as if you've been transported back in time. The traditional Chinese architecture, with red wooden pillars, dragon-patterned tiled roofs, and intricately carved wooden windows, is surrounded by the natural beauty of a classic Chinese garden designed to create a balance of Yin and Yang according to Taoist beliefs.

A highlight not to be missed is the "Rockery," made from intricately shaped mountain rocks that exude a mysterious and intriguing aura. At the center of the garden lies a large pond with a red pavilion in the middle, which serves as a symbol of this garden.

In addition to the garden's beauty, there are also numerous souvenir shops and restaurants, especially the famous "Xiao Long Bao" shop, where people line up in long queues.
