Wujiang Road is a food district full of food. When you walk, the whole street smells good!

#TravelChina
If you're a foodie who likes to "walk and eat," this area is heaven! 🌟 Wujiang Road is a short street located near subway lines 2 and 13 (get off at Nanjing West Road Station, 南京西路). Once you exit the station, you'll find this area right there, making it very easy to walk.

The roadside is lined with a variety of restaurants and snack bars, including local Chinese food, desserts, fried chicken, fancy drinks, bubble milk tea, and snacks from various countries. 🍡🍰🍗 Most of the shops are takeaway only, as space is limited, so there aren't many tables. Except for a few places like Starbucks Reserve and famous dessert brands, which offer a few places to sit and rest.

The highlight of Wujiang Road is its "smell." As you walk past each shop, you'll be greeted by the aroma of baked goods, fried food, and various snacks, making you want to try them all! 😂 There are even popular shops from social media, such as:

Korean-style crispy fried chicken with spicy sauce

Tang Taek Custard-filled dumplings

New bubble milk tea shops with the aroma of brown sugar

Colorful fruity cold desserts

💡 Atmosphere
Although a small neighborhood, it's full of energy and life. It's especially crowded in the evenings, with young people, tourists, and office workers stopping by to grab a bite before heading home. The lights at the various shops are beautifully lit, making for a lively and charming photo opportunity. 📸

🗺️ Getting there

The most convenient subway route is Line 2 or Line 13 to Nanjing West Road Station (南京西路站).

Once you exit the station, it's less than a two-minute walk to Wujiang Road.

☕ Tips
If you're looking for a place to rest, we recommend Starbucks or a nearby bakery. For those looking for a relaxing stroll and photos, we recommend coming in the late afternoon when the light is beautiful and the weather isn't too hot.

Overall, Wujiang Road is a great area for foodies looking to experience "modern Shanghai street food." It's delicious, fun, and convenient, all in one place. 💜
