Jiangxi is home to many famous peaks, such as Wugong Mountain and Sanqing Mountain, which are well known to the world. This time, we chose to explore Lingshan, a hidden secret in Shangrao.
Lingshan, though somewhat low-key among many famous mountains, is a seriously underrated treasure. Its scenic beauty is in no way inferior to those renowned peaks. Even more pleasantly surprising is the fact that it has few visitors, as if it were an untouched pure land.
Address: Lingshan Scenic Area, Shangrao City
🚄 Transportation: About a 30-minute taxi ride from Shangrao High-Speed Rail Station; there is a direct bus from the station for 15 RMB per person (note the return schedule)
🏃 Route: It is recommended to take the cable car up and down the mountain. The mountain has an 8.5 km circular plank road with two route options, 211 and 985, but overall the difficulty is low, mostly stone paths with little elevation gain.
❗️ Photo Spot: Be sure to check in at the China Dragon Spine, which looks like a giant dragon and is very impressive. It is one of the important symbols of Lingshan.
