The Embracing Jizo is said to have been created in 1650. It is believed that if you make a wish while embracing the Jizo and it feels light, your wish will come true.

The way there involves walking up a steep hill, which feels almost like a pilgrimage, but since it's a place locals often visit, be sure to stop by when touring Takehara.
