Faith of Shangri-La @ Songzanlin Temple

Visit Songzanlin Temple (松赞林寺, Songzanlin Temple), the largest Lama temple in Yunnan Province, also known as the Little Potala Palace.

This temple is very beautiful, featuring distinctive Tibetan art. Inside the temple, there is a unique golden Buddha statue worth worshiping.

The temple is located about 6 kilometers from the old town of Shangri-La, situated at an altitude of ~ 3,380 meters above sea level.

Travel (from the old town of Shangri-La): You can take a taxi or bus no.3.

🕰️Operating hours: Every day from 07:40 to 18:00 (last entry at 16:00).

Cost: There is an entrance fee.

Tips:
- Move slowly to prevent altitude sickness (AMS).
