In Shangri-La! I stayed at the guesthouse of my dreams!

Finally stayed at a homestay that was eye-catching and broke the uniformity of homestay styles. It was not the same old "designer homestay". I was very satisfied with both the style and the service, and I especially liked the sense of design in some details.
The room type I stayed in had a view of the Great Buddha Temple and the prayer wheel, where devout people turned the prayer wheel to pray for blessings, and the ancient city at night was particularly gentle and quiet.
I knew the homestay was in the ancient city, but I didn't expect that Snow Mountain Kitchen and Pugu Warehouse were just a few steps away, which made it very convenient to eat and travel.
The afternoon tea was very thoughtful, not semi-finished cakes, nor just a handful of peanuts and melon seeds, but all Shangri-La specialties, yak jerky and barley yogurt bowl were super delicious, and I even bought some from the owner before leaving 😋
The temperature in Shangri-La is very low in winter, and the floor heating is very comfortable. After walking around the ancient city, I was immediately surrounded by warmth when I returned to the room, and it felt great to walk on the warm floor without shoes.
The room was very clean, and disposable bath towels and towels were provided. The L'Occitane verbena shampoo and conditioner were very suitable for the style of Shangri-La, and the owner had a good taste.
The butler was very enthusiastic and answered all my questions, and the pick-up and drop-off were timely. The introduction and guide were very helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurant on the top floor of the homestay was not open yet, otherwise I would have loved to experience a candlelight dinner overlooking the ancient city 🕯️.
Overall, the design, hygiene, and service were all 💯, and I recommend it to friends visiting Shangri-La.
