Under the sea of flowers, the grand prayer flags in Shangri-La are truly breathtaking.

Located about a 5-minute drive from Shangri-La Airport, this spot is perfect for those who want to take it easy on their first day and avoid altitude sickness. It's recommended to first visit a Tibetan clothing store in the old town, where you can rent outfits, get makeup, and hairstyling done for RMB 68-98. The entire experience takes about an hour and a half.

Afterward, you can take a car to the grand prayer flags site, with an entrance fee of RMB 9 per person.

We hired a professional photographer on-site, who was very dedicated. Not only did they take photos, but they also filmed videos for us. The fee was RMB 44 per person, which included three retouched photos. Additional photos were available for an extra charge, haha!

In the end, we each spent RMB 228, which included all the photos.
