The Liupanshan Red Army Long March Memorial Hall, a renovation and expansion of the 1986 Liupanshan Red Army Long March Memorial Pavilion, covers 2,159 square meters and comprises an exhibition hall, a monument, a red flag-shaped screen wall, and bronze sculptures. The memorial boasts four exhibition halls, including themes such as "The Red Army Fears No Longer Advances," "Red Flags Flutter in the West Wind," "Three Armies Pass Through, All Smile," and "No Hero Has Not Visited the Great Wall." The monument, situated on a 4,900-square-meter platform atop the memorial hall, stands 26.8 meters high, 18 meters long, and 4.5 meters wide. The front is inscribed with the ten gilded characters "Liupanshan Red Army Long March Memorial" by Comrade Jiang Zemin. On the east and west sides, inscribed are handwritten copies of Chairman Mao's famous poems, "Seven-Character Verse. Long March" and "Qingpingle. Liupanshan." This red tourism attraction was established by the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Party Committee and Government to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Red Army's crossing of the Liupanshan Mountains and the victory of the Long March.
