Napahai Lake – Lijiang, Yunnan
Napahai Lake is a large freshwater lake located in Shangri-La County.

📍 Getting There
From Shangri-La City, it's about a 13 km drive (~20 minutes).

You can call DiDi or charter a local car (around 100–150 yuan round trip).

If coming from Lijiang, you'll need to take a bus or charter a car up to Shangri-La (~4 hours) and then transfer to the lake.

🕒 Recommended Hours
Open all day, but the best times to visit are from 9:00–11:00 AM (for soft light and clear views) and from 3:00–5:00 PM in the late afternoon to evening.

Recommended Season: October–February, when you can see black cranes and golden-brown grasslands.

💡 Tips
Bring a sweater or windbreaker, as the wind is strong year-round.
Wear sneakers or boots. Because the ground is wet in some areas.
