The Scenic Route of G214 in Yunnan Province (Shangri-La → Lijiang)

Traveling from Shangri-La to Lijiang has become more convenient with the opening of the high-speed railway. However, I personally recommend traveling by car 🚗.

Why? Because National Highway G214 offers breathtaking views that you can only experience here.

From the stunning "Huxiang Supreme Viewing Platform," where snow-capped mountains and wildflowers create a mesmerizing scene, to the "Baishuitai," where layers of white terraced water reflect the sky to form a spectacular view, and the majestic "Tiger Leaping Gorge," this route is filled with incredible sights to delight your eyes.

4. Tiger Leaping Gorge (pass through the Upper Tiger Leaping area by car)
↓ Rejoin National Highway G214
5. Arrive at your hotel in Lijiang city center
