Shangri-La healing trip, a spontaneous journey to unwind on the 3600-meter-high plateau đď¸ The SFEEL designer hotel I stayed at this time was truly a delightful surprise on my trip!
đHotel address: No. 9 Chigu Alley, Cangfang Community, Jiantang Town, just a 10-minute walk from Dukezong Ancient Town, super convenient. The owner also offers free airport shuttle service, which is very friendly for first-time visitorsď˝
â¨My stay experience:
1ď¸âŁ The room design is so strong! Minimalist modern style paired with smart furniture, every corner is great for photos
2ď¸âŁ The biggest surprise is that the hotel provides diffused oxygen supply, so no need to worry about altitude sickness at all
3ď¸âŁ Afternoon tea is a delightful bonus! Drinking hot beverages in the sunroom while watching the distant snow-capped mountains, itâs truly healing
4ď¸âŁ Pet owners, take note, this place is super dog-friendly! My silly dog had so much fun
5ď¸âŁ At night, you can watch movies with the projector in the room, and the soft bedding makes you fall asleep immediately
Recommended nearby activities:
â
Dukezong Ancient Town: just a 10-minute walk, check out the worldâs largest prayer wheel
â
Songzanlin Monastery: a must-visit âLittle Potala Palaceâ in Shangri-La, best to go in the morning when the sun is shining
â
Napahai Lake Loop: great for horseback riding or cycling, seasonal lake views are incredibly expansive
âźď¸Altitude sickness tips:
1⣠Itâs best not to shower or wash your hair on the first day
2⣠Drink plenty of warm water and carry some chocolate for energy
3⣠Walk slowly and avoid strenuous exercise
4⣠The hotelâs oxygen supply facility is really thoughtful
