Sade Village is a famous traditional Sasak village on Lombok Island, offering a unique and culturally rich experience for visitors from Taiwan.
The village has preserved its architectural style for hundreds of years, featuring roofs made of thatched grass and floors crafted from a mixture of mud and buffalo dung. Walking into the village feels like stepping back in time.
Women in the village often sit at their doorsteps weaving cloth. These handmade fabrics are truly beautiful, with every stitch crafted by the women themselves. Some even say that learning to weave is a prerequisite for marriage!
Tourists are welcome to visit the village, and there are guides available to take you on a tour, sharing stories and customs of the village.
