Shanwei 2-Day Itinerary Recommendation - Food and Sea Viewing

📍Shanwei
All of Shanwei's famous delicacies can be found on Ermalu. Seeing the sea, I chose Jintingwan, a beautiful and nearby restaurant! There were a few minor issues, so please read the precautions! But it's truly perfect for foodies!

🚗Transportation: Shanwei High-Speed Rail Station
Taxi: ~30 NT$ to Ermalu

📍Day 1 - Ermalu - Jintingwan
After arriving at noon, I had Niuxiong Beef Hotpot (about 140 NT$) on Ermalu. I think every restaurant here is delicious! It's very similar to the one I had in Shantou! I also had their ganache juice, which had a nice aftertaste, not too sweet. I loved it!

Beibeixian (Baibeixian) has many branches. The passion fruit, pineapple, and lemonade (~10 NT$) is sweet and really delicious!

Taxi - Jintingwan 🏖️ (about 20 minutes)
Don't arrive too early; the sun will be too strong, unless you're swimming! Arriving around 3:00 pm, I took some photos and walked around until the evening cooled down and the night market opened! The overall atmosphere is very relaxed, and the food is a bit pricey. But the scenery makes it worth it.

We had savory pancakes, licorice fruit, and oyster omelets (average about 25 yuan each), all delicious!

🌌Late-night snack on Erma Road: Crowded!

The five-fruit sweet soup (12 yuan) was generous and refreshingly sweet, highly recommended!

The fermented bean curd chicken wings (8 yuan) were crispy and fragrant, and the fried chicken wings are a must-try every time!

Oyster and shrimp casserole porridge takeout, with chive pancakes and spring rolls (7 yuan each), totaling 40 yuan! The side dishes were crispy and even more appealing than the porridge. The rice in Shanwei is so distinct!

📍Day 2 - Shengwang Rice Noodle Rolls
Nizaijie Egg and Pork Sausage (~10 yuan): Nizaijie is a Shanwei dish made with a mixture of squid, pork, and other ingredients. Adding it to rice rolls gives it a slightly squid-like aroma, which is quite flavorful. The steamed beef rice noodles were also delicious! Shanwei's rice noodle rolls are often served with a light sweet and spicy sauce.

A-ma's Taste (next to the rice noodle roll shop): The taro pancakes are truly delicious, with a crispy crust and a soft, sweet interior. They're delicious with or without an egg yolk! (4-6 yuan)
The mochi (glutinous rice cake) was just average, and my friend thought so too.

🌞Lunch - Shanwei Museum. I highly recommend it. You'll see lots of Shanwei-themed items and ancient artifacts, especially the architectural models, which are fascinating to look at!

Finally, we had a fried food platter and roselle tea at a cafe near the high-speed rail station. It was also quite relaxing!

💡Notes:
1. A taxi to Jincheng Bay is under 30 yuan, but the return trip was incredibly difficult. We didn't get one until almost 45 minutes after 8 p.m. We walked to the road near the exit (a 10-minute walk) and it just happened to get one. Traffic was incredibly congested there!

2. Foodies, stay near Erma Road. It's truly packed with food, lively, and convenient!
