Just got back from a trip to Shaoxing, listen to my off-the-beaten-path itinerary with fewer tourists. The off-season in Shaoxing is really impressive, with the old town blending into the locals' lives. Avoiding the crowded and bustling Lu Xun's hometown, I took my time to wander and eat, and it turned out to be an amazing experience.

🚄 Shaoxing 1-Day Citywalk

- Morning:
- Hangzhou East Station to Shaoxing North Station.
- Take BRT Line 1 (get off at Songmei Bridge Station).
- The Hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy: Check in at the old bookstore, Daifang Bridge, and Tishan Bridge.
- West Street: The original ecological old street of Shaoxing, with old bookstores and coffee shops.

- Afternoon:
- Zimin Library: Check in at the famous landscape painting wall.
- The Hometown of Yangming: Few people and incredibly photogenic! White walls, black tiles, and evergreen pines and cypresses.
- Cangqiao Straight Street: Take photos of the black-awning boats, the ancient street, and enjoy snacks/drinks.
- Xu Wei Art Museum: A fashionable art museum in the ancient city, very photogenic in white.

- Keqiao Ancient Town: A stunningly beautiful ancient town with 1700 years of history, perfect for a blue hour moment.
- Must-visit for photos is the 'moon-shaped arch bridge'.
