Yangming's Hometown in Shaoxing is not as famous as Lu Xun's Hometown and Shusheng's Hometown, and it is smaller in scale!
Because I live near Cangqiao Zhijie, not far from Xixiaolu is Yangming's Hometown! Walking north from Xixiaolu, you can go directly to Yangming's Hometown!
I have long heard of Mr. Wang Yangming's deeds, and I have also read "Instructions for Practical Living." I admire him very much. He is worthy of being the number one person in the Ming Dynasty!
As soon as I entered Yangming's Hometown, I felt a sense of weight. There are not many residences on both sides, but what impressed me most was the river in Yangming's Hometown. It was so peaceful, like a mirror, reflecting the scenery on both sides. It's really beautiful! It's also like Mr. Yangming's thought, the heart is as clear as a mirror!
There is a coffee shop by the river called "Mr. Yangming's Courtyard." Opposite it, there is also a very large Chinaberry tree, which should be many years old. It is even bigger than the one in Shusheng's Hometown. Friends who like to see Chinaberry trees blooming should not miss it here! However, the flowering period has passed, but it still does not affect the beautiful scenery by the river!
Next to the coffee shop, Mr. Yangming's former residence and memorial hall are here, where you can learn about Mr. Yangming's life and thoughts! Looking at the information here, listening to the interpretation, it seems that the soul has been baptized!
