Shaoxing Xiangye Ersheng · Summer Mood
Lian Zeng Village, Xialu Town, Keqiao District, Shaoxing
The homestay is located on the south side of Zaikou Tingxi in Lian Zeng Village, Keqiao District, Shaoxing. It takes only 1 hour by car from downtown Hangzhou, but it feels like instantly switching time and space channels. The buildings are built by the mountain and water, with white walls, black tiles, and the sound of bamboo forests and streams, as if born to "escape the world." In the morning, the mountain mist lingers; at night, the Milky Way hangs low. The cicadas' chirping and the sound of the stream create natural white noise, instantly soothing urban anxiety.
The homestay consists of three buildings, originally transformed from local farmhouses, maximizing the preservation of the original terrain and vegetation. The buildings are staggered in the valley, naturally borrowing the scenery: floor-to-ceiling windows embrace the stream and bamboo sea, furniture in natural wood tones paired with straw mats and curtains. Every corner reveals the designer’s interpretation of "light seclusion." The courtyard retains old persimmon trees and wild grass slopes, complemented by stone steps, pottery jars, and bamboo fences, exuding a handmade texture and the wild charm of seasonal changes.
The entire property has only 20 rooms, distributed across three waterfront buildings, each with floor-to-ceiling windows plus a private terrace/balcony. Open the window to see the stream and bamboo sea. Rooms are equipped with floor heating and air conditioning, Muji-style furniture, custom mattresses, high-thread-count cotton-linen bedding, Marshall speakers, custom tea sets, and bath products made from natural plant-based brands. The hardware matches five-star standards.
The hotel’s "Wild Food" scenic restaurant is based on authentic Shaoxing flavors, specializing in Shaoxing local dishes and creative fusion cuisine, reservation required. Ingredients are mostly sourced from local farmers: bamboo shoots, dried vegetables, native chicken, fresh stream fish... emphasizing seasonality and freshness. For afternoon tea: enjoy hand-brewed coffee and homemade osmanthus cake at the "Wild Coffee" by the stream, with the golden-lit water surface right outside the window.
