The Abandoned Village on an Island

A bus/car and boat ride away from Shanghai/Hangzhou. Tickets can be bought on WeChat. there are no Didis on the island so taxis it is for everyone who didn’t bring their cars to the island.
Houtouwan is the name of this fishing village that was once occupied but now one of the most beautiful deserted places.
There are pretty decent hotels nearby. The nice thing about being on a fishing island is eating fresh sea foo#islandtravel daily. There are variety of options to choose from although none of them accommodate solo travelers.
There is a tuck shop for snacks and benches to rest when taking a break from all the steps and steep pavement.
