Due to heavy fog causing ferry cancellations, I stayed an extra night which made the experience more complete 🌺♥
Before check-in, they'll add you on WeChat to coordinate ferry pickup and assign you a personal butler 🍎🍅🌇
The journey from Shanghai takes over 5 hours by bus+ferry, and the driver will contact you when you're close to arrival 🏖⛳🏤
The island roads are winding, and it's quite a distance from the pier to the homestay. Upon arrival and room check-in - I booked two rooms for my parents and myself - both were beautiful and exactly as pictured. Breakfast includes rice noodles/porridge+nine-grid platter, lunch offers seafood noodles and fried rice ❣️💋
Dinner is available by ordering in advance
🧡🏡 After staying three nights, as someone sensitive to noise, I must say the island is truly quiet and the homestay has no extra noise. Everything was satisfactory, both service and facilities
The only drawback is that food options on the island are somewhat limited 🎉💒
I deliberately went after the Qingming Festival, but the weather wasn't ideal and I missed seeing the beautiful sunset
Still managed to take some gorgeous photos though 🌳🍀🚞
